ADDINGTON ROAD

A sensitive extension and refurbishment of a historic terraced house within a conservation area, the project replaces a rear outrigger with a modest single-storey extension and introduces a partially sunken garden room for flexible home working and storage. A small rear balcony is formed in keeping with neighbouring properties, while upgrades to windows and insulation improve performance and comfort. Using a restrained palette of slate, lime render and timber, the design balances contemporary living with respect for the building’s historic character. Due to start on site in summer 2026.
